Cybersecurity Hardening for a 60-User CPA Firm

A CPA firm handling sensitive financial data lacked strong security measures, leaving them vulnerable to phishing and ransomware attacks. To improve email security, network protection, and endpoint security, I implemented Microsoft Defender for O365, blocking 95% of phishing attempts. I deployed Cisco Meraki firewalls with geo-blocking, reducing unauthorized access, and enforced multi-factor authentication (MFA) for 60+ accounts. As a result, phishing attacks decreased by 85%, and the firm achieved compliance with financial data protection standards.
